ちょっと忘れたけど一ヶ月前ぐらいアメリカの一番有名な動物園を訪ねるために僕らがサンディエゴに行って来ました。すごく楽しかったです。キリンちゃんにえさを上げましたりサイとかボノボとか近くで眺めたりしました。Flickrに

サンディエゴがメキシコにちかいですので美味しいレストランがいっぱいです。

Our apartment is built on the border between Berkeley and Oakland, and also in this area there are both rich and poor neighborhood. It means that we have both fancy expensive restaurants on the main street and reasonable hall in one restaurants in hidden place. We are definitely in poor group in this area so we exclusively eat at reasonable restaurants.

Last Wednesday was Seth's birthday. Since I don't make a a lot of money, I couldn't afford to spend much for his birthday present. So I tried to make him happy with a little money and my love.

Even though I had a big bagel dinner last night, I was a little hungry this morning. So I opened the fridge and looked for something to eat, but there was nothing that looked good. Ummm...what should I do.

Although this weekend is a long weekend, I haven't gone out anywhere besides cafes and restaurants because I had to study for an English exam--the TOEFL. I don't want to even think about it, but it's coming up in a week. A week!? I need more time!!!

Actually, I had a plenty of time to study, but I've been lazy and kept ignoring the exam. But I can no longer run away from reality, I have to face it (don't tell me "it's too late").

How long do you usually sleep? Eight hours of sleep is just enough for me, which is pretty healthy, right?

今日、スーパーからの帰り道に下のようなメッセージが付いた歯ブラシが落ちていました。

僕の奥さんがいつも「トイレットペーパーを使い過ぎ」「十五センチだけでええんやろう」などの文句を言っています。それなのに僕が無視して不経済的な使い方を続けていました。一回でトイレットペーパーを一個のロールぐらい使っちゃう程になりました。

もう何でか忘れちゃったんですけど、昨夜、景子とみかんについて話していました。多分今週、急にさむくなったからです。そうして、俺がインターネットで「Ojai Valley」というカリフォルニアの南部にある果樹園を見つけました。その会社は40ドルで5キロを送ってくれますが、「Monterey Market」という販売代理店が近くにあって今日の昼に景子が買ってきました。

これらは普段、この辺りで買える「さつまみかん」と違います。ほんまの紀州みかんです。
